Where the next version of the platform comes from
Two AI systems built for clinical work, an engineering operation inside a university technology park, and participation in four European research consortia.
Two burdens, two systems
ERC's AI work is aimed at two different costs in a hospital day: the time a clinician spends documenting a consultation, and the time a specialist spends measuring an image.
Neither system decides anything. Both propose, and a clinician reviews and approves before any result enters the record.
Development inside METU Teknokent
The platform is designed, built and maintained by our own engineering team, resident in METU Teknokent — the technology park of Middle East Technical University in Ankara, and one of Türkiye's principal centres for applied research and deep-technology companies.
- A permanent engineering team rather than project-by-project contracting
- Proximity to university research groups and to graduate engineering talent
- The recognised research base behind our participation in EU programmes
- Product development driven by what national deployments actually require
European research, delivered as a consortium
ERC has taken part in four EU pre-commercial procurement programmes.
Each was delivered by a consortium of partners rather than by any single supplier, and each was led by a coordinating organisation. ERC took part as a consortium member. The programmes, the countries they ran in and the technologies each produced are set out in full on the research page.
